Western Diocese

On Saturday, December 8, 2007, from 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m., the joint Oriental Orthodox Churches Sunday School Students (between ages 9 to 15) event will take place at the Western Diocesan Headquarters of the Armenian Church, in Burbank, California.

There will be approximately 200 participating students accompanied by their Sunday School teachers, superintendents and Parish Priests at the event.

His Eminence Archbishop Hovnan Derderian, Primate of the Western Diocese of the Armenian Church, and several guest Primates from the participating Sister Churches will be present at this crucial joint event.

The program consists of several spiritual sermons; Prayers in Syriac, Armenian and Coptic Languages, as well as a joint prayer in English will be held during this event. There will be also a special workshop on several topics related to the Holy Bible.
