Under the auspices and presidency of His Emincence Hovnan Derderian a special event was organized on the 18^th of April to honor Dr. Kherlopian on the occasion of his latest publication which was entitled the “Study of the Armenian Genocide.” Dr. Avedis Papazian and Hagop Gulujian made presentations on his book emphasizing the importance of its historical, social, political, and psychological affects. The opening words were given by the chairman of the Armenian Writers Union in California, poet Grish Tavtian. The Primate made the closing remarks and expressed his appreciation of Dr. Kherlopian’s long time dedication to the Armenian People, and for authoring many books. He also commended the presenters and all those who took part in the program.
