Western Diocese

It is our great pleasure to inform the Diocesan Clergy, Parish Councils, Diocesan Council, auxiliary bodies and all faithful that His Eminence Archbishop Nerses Bosabalian, a Senior Member of the Brotherhood of the Mother See of Holy Etchmiadzin, will be visiting the Western Diocese of the Armenian Church.

Upon the invitation of His Eminence Archbishop Hovnan Derderian, Primate of the Western Diocese of the Armenian Church, His Eminence Archbishop Nerses Bosabalian will celebrate the Holy Liturgy and offer sermons at the following dates and churches.

• Sunday, November 11, 2007, at St. Mary Church, Yettem, California.
• Sunday, November 18, 2007, at St. Paul Church, Fresno, California.
• Sunday, November 25, 2007, at St. Peter Church, Van Nuys, California.

His Eminence Archbishop Nerses Bosabalian was born in Syrian, 1937. He was ordained a celibate priest, in 1961. In 1974, the late Catholicos Vazgen I ordained him a bishop. He has served in various capacities at the Mother See of Holy Etchmiadzin. His Eminence has also served as a Member of the Supreme Council of the Mother See.
