Western Diocese

We gladly inform the faithful that the necessary permits for the construction of the Mother Cathedral have been obtained from the City of Burbank and the construction will begin following Easter Celebrations.
On March 14, 2008, Architect Mr. Kaaren Khoudikian and Mr. Shahe Boyajian conveyed the good news to His Eminence Archbishop Hovnan Derderian at the Western Diocese. The Primate expressed his utmost appreciation and prayed to God to hasten the construction of the long-awaited Cathedral for the spiritual welfare of the faithful of the Western Diocese of the Armenian Church of North America.
