Primate Delighted Elderly Residents with His Surprise Visit to Eagle Rock Ararat Home

On Wednesday, November 7, 2007, His Eminence Archbishop Hovnan Derderian, Primate of the Western Diocese, paid a surprise Visit to Eagle Rock Ararat Home. Rev. Fr. Tavit Zelveyan was already at the retirement house on a routine vistation when the Primate arrived. Rev. Fr. Tavit Zelveyan was talking to the elderly residents, gathered in the visitors’ hall, at the time of Primate’s arrival.

Some of the elderly residents recognized the Primate and thanked him for the visitation. His Eminence Archbishop Hovnan Derderian blessed the residents and prayed for their well being.

In Conclusion, upon the instruction of the Primate, an assistant from the Western Diocese distributed little cross memorabilia among the residents and workers of Eagle Rock Ararat Home.
