ACYO members briefed His Eminence Archbishop Hovnan Derderian, Primate of the Western Diocese of the Armenian Church, on the various aspects of the ACYO, during a meeting held on Saturday, November 10, 2007, at the Western Diocesan Headquarters.

The upcoming CYMA Dinner Dance Extravaganza on the evening of Friday, November 30, at the Long Beach Hyatt featuring Khachig and His Band was discussed during the meeting. The Primate wished success to the ACYO 2007 fundraising goal of $20,000.

Dn. Vahe Abovian, a candidate of priesthood, is appointed as the Youth Director of the Western Diocese. Primate lauded Dn. Abovian’s experiences in the field and wished him success in his new assignment.
