Western Diocese

It is with great joy that we inform our parishioners that during the year 2006 $35,200 was allocated to the Diocese of Armavir in Armenia through the gracious donations from the following sources:

• $23,000, donated by St. John Armenian Church of San Francisco, was allocated for the renovation of the kindergarten of Merkarshat.
• $5,000 was donated by Dr. and Mrs. Varoujan Altabarmakian
• $2,000 was donated by St. Gregory Armenian Church of Pasadena ACYO
• $700 was donated by Mr. and Mrs. Nshan Blikian
• $3,000 was allocated to St. Sahag of Dantsoud
• $1,000, donated by La Crescenta Armenian Church for St. Nshan Armenian Church of Armavir.

Our partnership in the rebuilding of Armavir by the parishes and faithful of the Western Diocese reflects the depth of our Christian faith. The Diocese thanks all of those listed above as well as others who participated in the fundraising for their efforts.
